Beware of new phishing SMS scams
Recently several customers of banks in Singapore have been targeted by a series of phishing SMS scams. Scammers are actively sending you clickable links to mislead you to provide your particulars. These links in the SMSes lead to a fake HL Bank website which ask for sensitive information.
- Customers are reminded to ensure they are on HL Bank’s official online banking website to conduct any bank-related transactions.
- Do not click on any links from SMS and e-mails, we will never send SMS or e-mails with clickable links to you.
- Remember that HL Bank will never ask you for your digital banking credentials or one-time password (OTP). Do not divulge any information when requested by unknown third parties or if the request appears suspicious.
If you need to report a lost bank card and/or fraudulent transactions, our hotline is available 24/7. Do contact us immediately at +65 6028 9800 if you require assistance.
